This post is going to be a little bit different from the others, but it does not mean it is less important. Today I had the fantastic opportunity to visit Old Town Spring, TX. It is a beautiful place situated on the North of Houston, and it has the most beautiful atmosphere that I could ever seen: a lot of people walking through the streets, enjoying the country music, the food, and the friendly little stores that this magnificent place has. Surely a enjoyable place to visit.
While I was talking with my host family, we decided to enter in a leather shop called Bear Custom Leather, which has really nice people as owners, who I am so thankful to, because besides they had explained to me how they work with that awesome material, they gave me two beautiful handmade gifts: a notebook with a leather cover which has a wolf on it, and a leather coaster. I promised them that I would write a post about them, and here I am!
But that is not all. Before we left the town, we decided to enter in another shop called Don Quixote Home Decor, where we had been fortunate to get to know the owners. We talked for a while, and I tried to help a young Mexican boy with how he could begin to learn English. Totally unexpected the owner decided to give me a bracelet from her store that says "Faith, hope, love abide but the greatest of these is love". And that is true! So I decided to post that post as gratitude for all your presents. Thank you so much.
Finally, I just want to say that if any of you who are reading this post now, has the opportunity to visit this place, and this stores, do it. You will not be disappointed.
